RANE SR-1 SERATO BOX
Becoming increasingly common on DJ riders, the SR-1 interfaces a laptop running Scratch Live software with any DJ mixer, allowing MP3 recordings stored on the laptop to be manipulated with standard decks or CD players. Supplied with a power supply to allow installation of the unit in advance, with transparent operation for non-Serato DJs.
RANE TTM-57SL SERATO MIXER:
The TTM-57SL combines the SL-1 Serato interface with the TTM-56 mixer, widely regarded as the finest scratch mixer available. DJs can simply connect their laptop running Scratch Live software and manipulate MP3 recordings stored on it using standard decks or CD players. For non-Serato DJs, the mixer functions transparently as a TTM-56.
